Bright Heart Foundation had it’s Launch Party on Wednesday, November 28, 2018. This first fundraiser was a huge success thanks to Luke Pilkinton’s family and friends who stood up and gave so generously for the fight against Congenital Heart Defects! Guests noshed on food sponsored by Chef’s Market, Clean Plate Club, and Dream Catering while learning about Luke’s journey. World of Broken Hearts so generously created a video representation of the little known world of the babies fighting for their lives against CHD. Then Luke’s heart surgeon, Dr. Bret Mettler, addressed the audience from a scientific and research perspective telling them how donated monies were needed to help others fighting like Luke. It was a wonderful evening of love, light and bright futures for the heart babies!
